About Honest Divorce
Honest Divorce was founded by CPA Steve Newman to fill a need for effective, cost efficient, and compassionate divorce services. Too many of Steve’s clients, family members, and friends were ruined financially and emotionally because of divorce so he decided to end this cycle of unneeded despair.
Steve has an impressive background. Having earned an MBA from UCLA, he then worked for Price Waterhouse, where he gained the experience to qualify as a CPA. Steve also holds certificates as a CDFA® (Certified Divorce Financial Analyst) and CFF (Certified in Financial Forensics) so Steve can assist clients work through even the most complex financial matters of a divorce. Steve is also trained in Divorce Mediation.
Attorneys with significant Family Law experience are also part of the Honest Divorce team. The Attorneys handle all the legal aspects of the divorce, from filing of the petition to drafting and submitting the Final Judgment to the Court. Additionally, Coaches help establish the coparenting plan and facilitate effective communication throughout the divorce process, as required.
